My big boy

Ollie is really growing up. He is 28 inches long, which is almost 10 inches longer than when he was born. He continues to army-crawl and yesterday he scooched right up to me, slapped his hand down on my leg and looked up as if to say "Hi mommy!"

Ollie is also very responsive to his name, pointing and even following what I do. If we read a touchy-feeley book and I say "touch the fuzzy bear" he touches the fuzzy bear. It seems really silly but this baby was just a cute wiggly blob not long ago, and now his is like an active participant in the world around. It is amazing to see his personality develop and blossom.

Bedtime is really a nice time for us now. We read, and Ollie actually listens instead of wanting to grab and chew on the book. He is also a really snuggly little boy, giving tons of kisses and hugs and always loving to be cuddled. Mick and I know how precious these moments are, we really do.
