Gratuitous

Today will be the second day I drop Ollie for a partial day-care day. We did the first day on Monday, and all the ladies said he did really well. He was a little timid at first because one baby was LOOSING it when we came in. She was just wanting some food, but man was she loud and it really upset Ollie. Mick tried to put him down and Ollie just clung to him. Which of course Mick loved.

After the baby settled, Ollie went over and started playing with some toys and flirting with the staff. Apparently he played, ate and slept very well ... He's with the infant group to start, and will move into toddlers soon, when a space opens up. I, of course, got a bit emotional when i dropped him. I think you feel guilty no matter what you do as a parent. But I know it is time for him to have some more action and socialization—today daycare, tomorrow college.
