No More Nursing ... sniff

Yesterday was the first full day Ollie went with out a nurse. I had cut back the night- time nurse 2 days ago, he actually doesn't seem to mis it. We read a book, snuggle and I sing to him instead and he seems to find this more satisfying. But because of various events involving sickness, fever and major crying, I did not nurse him yesterday morning. I just forgot. Mick gets him up in the am and since I had been up with him early on ... I slept. So last night I realized and just decided to go with it. This morning Mick got him up and then brought him in to snuggle with me for a little, he didn't seem to go to the boob ... and there you have it. It does make me a little sad. It was like such a special thing for so long. Also I think it just makes me realize Ollie is not my precious little newborn anymore. But he is still my precious little boy.
