A big new year shout-out will come soon, but in the meantime here is Ollie with his buddies. His Elmo is a new addition—generously given to him by Auntie Doris—and piggy is a longtime favorite. He brought both down yesterday morning and enjoyed making them dance and talk with each other. It was SO amusing to watch. Of course as soon as I got the camcorder out the moment had passed. I feel like so much of the past few months have been this way. Ollie constantly doing new, excruciatingly adorable and fantastically amazing things. And me failing to capture them anywhere but in my brain.
Ollie, when you read this, because you are curious as to when you first said "watermelon" or were first able to do the running-man, don't be too disappointed that all you see are adorable pictures of you and random senseless comments from me. Know that your daddy and I had huge smiles on our faces as we watched you growing up. And I'm sure we still do.
