1. Ollie told me "I want some!" when i walked in with a pate of pasta. It may seem small to most, but to a proud mama, hearing your child speak more and more like a grown up is remarkably adorable. especially when year ago squeals and "mamamamammamam" was all we were gettng ...
2. Ollie was looking at some crayons and said "purple" and I said, "I don't see any purple crayons?" He pointed to a purple flower in the window and said "Right there, purple!" with a total tone of "Duh!"
3. Ollie has been particluarly amused by the cat lately. Saying "Hi Cat" every chance he gets. Today he role played and said "Hi Cat!" and then pretended to be the cat and said "Hi Ollie!" He seriously was speaking for the cat and got a huge kick out of it.
4. He's been really interested in the toilet, though it is more about opening closing and sitting on the closed toilet. He then peed on the side of the toilet like it was a tree, but hey. It was close.
