magic girl

In Switzerland there was a Merry-Go-Round (that Ollie called Uncle Mary-Go-Round) in honor of his Auntie Mary. He stood and watched in awe, and then out of no where squealed "PURPLE! PURPLE!" He was pointing to the purple sparkly "Magic Girl" car wedged between the tractors, race cars and motor cycles. I loved it. He climbed in and did not want to leave. So I bribed him with ice cream only to discover I had no money. And so there was my child who so nicely climbed out of his Magic Girl car in hopes of a treat, and was instead given several wordy sentences involving apologies and ATMs. Needless to say Ollie was not happy. After seeing me carry a flapping, screaming child across a play center, a kind mother gave me 5 francs so I could "enjoy the rest of the day."

On the second day we went he did the Magic girl and opted for a red sports car after while. variety.
